Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, Hanoi Fire Department has cancelled the December, 2009 First Aid & Incident Command Training Mission in Vietnam.  This training session was a joint mission set up by Tigard-based Medical Teams International and handled by Global Mission Readiness trainers.  At this time, we are treating this as a postponement rather than a full cancellation.  It is our hope that we can reschedule this mission and continue building upon the foundation that was set in place earlier this year during GMR's last trip to Vietnam in January.

For those that have assisted with fundraising, rest assured that these funds will be available when the next SE Asia trip is planned.  For now, all of our concentration will be on the February, 2010 Peru mission.  This Peru trip has been in the planning stages for months now and is fully funded as we await departure.
